Here is where I tell you my 'story'... This particular letter box is where I divulge details about my upbringing, what led me to muzek, what keeps me in it. Allow me a moment of blunt honesty. My most prominent instances of... well... 'words', are when writing muzek, talking about particular issues that I may be passionate about, or talking to an object of my affection. Well, I found my heart and soul in my wife ( X off the "hollerin at shawtys" ) and at times I grow so fed up with the world and the issues we bring upon it, I find that the only words I want to spew come from a cheap Bic pen into a composition book (may go to Muji Pads soon).

So... Long story short... I was born. I found muzek. It found me. We fell in love. It regularly gives it's love to others, but I've learned to curb my jealousy and just be happy with what it gives me.
I am songwriter first. I sing here and there.

My influences?
Donny Hathaway, Jon Bibbs, Sam Cooke, Rachelle Ferrell, and Jasmine Sullivan. There are OBVIOUSLY hundreds of names I could list, but those are the first to come to mind.

When Did I Get Serious About my Pursuit?
Honestly, Junior year of college. That was single-handedly and unconsciously done by none other than Jon Bibbs himself. We were roommates and I got the chance to see what music genius was first hand. It inspired me.

So, here I am... Pen in hand.

God has already given me everything... Just waiting on it to manifest here on Earth...
